Schiphol Airport – Facebook

I totally love the vibes in an airport. I believe I’m an airport/plane addict. I always have the feeling that I am in a strategic spot for exchanges, discoveries, mixity. Airport are also places to lose and to find. Just to tell you that my classmate in primary school when I was at the French school in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, found me on FB!
Back then, my 3 brothers and myself used to be already in these places where nationalities are mixing each others, planes take off and link suddenly the 2 continents of our origins.

Do you remember the French TV Programme ‘Perdu de Vu’? A complete production team suddenly focused on private investigation, a drama presenter, Jacques Pradel, some future ‘Reality TV’ people looking for someone they love and an emotional audience, changing from being concerned to excited. And at the end, a result which is quite ordinary
in today’s society with Facebook: to find someone you would never have imagined to hear from again. The programme was doing in a national way and with a limited edition what FB is doing today in an international way, with an unlimited edition. And with a social network on top.
I’m always amazed when I think that in 30 years, our children will think like me today. The MP3 will be our 33 records, the ‘loft’ our ‘école des fans’ and which technology will remplace Google when we don’t even talk about the minitel anymore?

I would love to know  what the future has in store for us, and discover the new technologies they will enjoy.

Anyway, time to take off, see you soon.
