The French magazine “l’Express” listed the 30 most important people in the French cinema industry today. Only 4 of them are women. In our interview, Rachel talks us through the “adventure” and creation of Birds Eye View. We also discuss about the place occupied by women producers and film makers in the masculine world of film production.

  • Rachel is a young English woman,  living in London.  She graduated from Oxford University and is the CEO of Birds Eye View, a festival that celebrates exclusively women film makers. Rachel recently just had her first baby.

  • Rachel was nominated a “world changing woman” by the Guardian. From other articles on her we read the words “sexy”, “smart”, “subversive”, “brave” and yet her successful career path has not worn down her simplicity, her desire to promote women in the film industry and her nice way of sharing it with us.
