- Who is Salimata?
- Salimata is a young French woman originally from Mali. She has the riches of a double culture and a very close knit family. Her background includes a successful Masters degree in Communication from the prestigious “Sorbonne” university in Paris, a passion for karate and capoeira, plus she has more than ten years experience in competitive athletics- specializing in sprinting and the triple jump. This dynamic young woman, who is only 30, has the special qualities to succeed.

- Salimata has decided to take a chance and move out of her ‘comfort zone’ : she left a stable job in marketing, her apartment and a rich Parisian social life, in exchange to begin a personal adventure which is something she could only dream of: creating her own collection of women’s ethical fashion, utilising sustainable materials and the craftsmanship of women in her home country of Mali. Salimata was brave enough to follow her instinct which gives her a beautiful energy, showing her courage and vital to making this change become reality.
